There is something special about having jewellery designed and made especially for you. A piece of jewellery designed and handcrafted to tell a part of your story.
Whether it's an engagement ring to show your commitment and love, or a piece of jewellery to celebrate a particular moment in your life.
How does the process work?
The bespoke process starts by completing our bespoke design questionnaire and arranging a consultation with Sarah to discuss your piece. The all helps to get an idea of type of piece you're looking for, your style, and any design ideas you may already have for your dream piece.
Bespoke Design Questionniare
Stage 1 - Consultation
The design process begins with a consultation with Sarah and either one or both of you (depending on how secret you want to be!). Here we take time finding out about you, what you like and dislike and get a feel for your style. It is useful to prepare a little before your consultation as to the type of piece you are after. If it’s a ring, think about the style you might like or that the person you’re giving the ring to will like, what stones you prefer - diamonds or coloured gemstones, what your budget is, and if you’re working towards a particular date.
If you're unable to meet in person or you live overseas we are happy for consultations to take place over the phone or via Skype or Facetime.
Stage 2 - Design
After this initial consultation work begins on the design and initial sketches will be shown within 2-3 weeks, from these sketches we will then work on them liaising with you until we have a final design ready to sign off at this stage we will also give you the cost for your final piece.
Stage 3 - Production
Once the design has been signed off your jewellery piece is made up in our workshop. Depending on the design your piece will be ready in 8-10 weeks from sign off.
Stage 4 - Your final piece
Once your piece has been completed and has met our highest quality standards it will be packaged in a beautiful Audrey Claude box and ready to pass you by your chosen collection or delivery method.
Questions
Resizing:
One of the worries you may have is whether a ring might not be the right fit. Please don’t worry, we realise, especially if you buying a ring as a gift or a proposal, that it might be very difficult to know the exact ring size and so we offer a free resizing service on all bespoke rings.
How do I pay for the bespoke work?
The payment for bespoke work is broken into 3 stages;
£150 deposit at the design stage before design work commences. This is deducted from the final cost of the jewellery.70% of the final cost (less the £150 deposit) is due once your design is signed off and before production begins.The final balance is due on completion of your piece before it is delivered to you. If delivery is outside of the UK an additional delivery charge will be added.
Can I see my piece of jewellery as it is being made?
Having a piece of jewellery made just for you is a special experience and we will record the production process with photographs for you as it is being made.
